On 1st October 2010 the City of Rennes launched a competion for the creation of innovative digital services based on various data sources that have been made available by the city, such as the public transport data, the data belonging to the 'Guide Vivre a Rennes'   and geodata for the city of Rennes 

The competetion is open until the 1st February, and offers 50.000 Euro in prize money, split over 6 categories.
