SANY architecture therefore provides a quick and cost-efficient way to reuse of data and services from legacy sensor- and data- sources.

Furthermore, in SANY we have developed standards for deploying data fusion and modelling services. It has become now possible to deploy generic spatial fusion services (using kriging techniques for instance) to merge heterogeneous sensor data values and provide them as a service for downstream environmental decisiopn-support web-applications. These are of multiple nature. In sany the same spatial fusion servcie provided information to two distinct application (Geohazards and Marine Risks).
