The Future Sensor Web

Description:

This group has been created as exchange platform for the "Future Sensor Web and Its Applications" workshop. It may be used for future collaborations, too.

The purpose of the workshop is to discuss research and application issues in the context of the Sensor Web, which is likely to become a key new component of spatial data infrastructures. As our aims are at least twofold, all activities of the workshop can be mapped to:

1. ideas for potential project proposal(s) together with core area, line of funding, potential partners, objectives and key work packages, and
2. an article (or even a series of articles) on recent developments, major challenges, prioritized research questions, example set of applications, and possible future steps in the Sensor Web.
