rhok, random hacks of kindness
On December 4th and 5th the second global 'Random Hacks of Kindness' (RHoK) will take place across the globe.
RHoK brings software engineers together with disaster relief experts to identify critical global challenges, and develop software to respond to them. A RHoK Hackathon event brings together the best and the brightest hackers from around the world, who volunteer their time to solve real-world problems.
Prior to each RHoK event, we work with the Crisis Commons community to bring together people from around the world with subject matter expertise to brainstorm potential problem definitions that can be developed by programmers. In the problem definitions, for the RHoK #2 hackathon, many require Spatial Data
The RHoK #2 global hackathon will be taking place in numerous cities around the world, with a Main Stage event on each continent and many more global satellite locations
